Full weekend stays allow for flexible timelines and include exclusive use of the entire estate.

Couples who choose to stay for the whole weekend have time to settle in with a full day of personalizing and preparations on Friday, followed by time for a relaxed and meaningful rehearsal.

By the time Saturday arrives you’ll be ready to embrace your big day with confidence, allowing you to be fully present to take in all the magic.

“ I’m convinced Sherwood Gardens is the best kept wedding venue secret. It was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend! The option to book for the entire weekend is what makes it so special. We were able to set-up the day before and clean-up the day after and host our rehearsal dinner the night before. My bridesmaids and I stayed in the house and got ready there the next day. Kathy was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We really can’t say enough great things about Sherwood Gardens! “

The Historic House

The historic 4,000 square foot home has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, along with full kitchen and formal dining and sitting rooms, allowing overnight guests to spread out and feel comfortable.

The large sun-porches on each floor are flooded with natural light, creating an elegant setting for day-of preparations like hair and makeup.

“Such a beautiful place to get married! There was a lot of yard space for games, it came with the house that fit the whole bridal party which worked out amazingly. We rented the Carriage House across the street as well, which worked perfect for guys getting ready and our private moment for vows. Kathy was amazing and very communicative. We got amazing pictures all over this property. Couldn’t recommend it enough. “

The Carriage House

The Carriage House is a beautifully renovated one bedroom cottage with large windows and a two-story deck overlooking the Kalamazoo River, located just across the street from the Sherwood Gardens estate.

The Carriage House is a serene setting for getting-ready quarters, an intimate first look, or a romantic honeymoon suite for the newlyweds.
