From your first visit to the grounds, through planning, all the way up to the big day, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and receive continued personalized support from our highly responsive team.

Ceremonies
Ceremonies are held in a selection of gorgeous sites among the grounds.
We offer various beautiful outdoor settings as well as indoor and covered options for less than ideal weather, ensuring our couples can have their dream ceremony no matter what the weather looks like.
White chairs and cedar-wood arbor are provided.
Receptions
Drenched in warm wood tones and flooded with natural light, this one-of-a-kind space has been adorned with thoughtful details like stained glass windows, custom woodwork, and large open-air doorways showcasing the natural beauty of the grounds.
Receptions of up to 150 guests take place in our historic orchard barn, complete with tables and chairs. You will receive personalized floor-planning and set up services before your event and our venue manager will always be present throughout your reception.

Vendor Flexibility
Personalize your reception and choose vendors that align with your unique vision as well as your budget. You can research your own vendors, or skip the legwork and let us recommend our favorite exceptional local businesses.
Customize your bar and stay within budget by bringing your own alcohol, we just require alcohol to be served by a certified and insured bartender. If you’d rather avoid the fuss we’re also happy to recommend our favorite full-service bars who will provide the beverages along with the bartenders.
Weekend Stays
Full weekend weddings are our specialty, allowing for flexible timelines and extended time with loved ones. After all the dreaming, planning, and anticipation, you shouldn’t be rushed on your big day. Stay all weekend and savor every moment.

FRIDAY:
After being greeted upon arrival and given an introduction to the grounds, your group can begin personalizing the reception space and other preparations.
In the evening, wind down during a relaxed rehearsal dinner.
SATURDAY:
Awake right here on the grounds, ready to begin day-of preparations with ease.
After a full day of celebrations, the fun doesn’t have to end. Loved ones stay overnight allowing for extended time together, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
SUNDAY:
Enjoy an early breakfast on the patio, recalling the previous day’s events with friends and family before final clean up and departure.

We can host ceremonies and receptions up to 150 guests

The historic house can host 16 overnight guests.
The carriage house can host 2 overnight guests. -
The full weekend isn’t for everyone! We also have a daily rental available detailed on our rates page.

Nobody hopes for rain on their big day, but you will be able to host your ceremony under the pavilion to keep guests dry while remaining connected to the natural surroundings.

Yes! there are hotels within just just 2 miles of Sherwood Gardens.

Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the grounds and in the reception space.
We do not allow pets inside the house

Yes! We just ask that your caterer and bartenders are licensed and insured.

Yes! You can stock your own bar, we just require all alcohol to be served by a professional bartender. We have some local bartenders who are familiar with our space that we’re happy to recommend.
Alternatively, you may choose to hire a bar service or catering company who provides the alcohol along with bartenders. We have local recommendations for this as well.

We work with many talented local vendors and we are happy to help you find the right vendors for your special day!

No! We will not surprise you with hidden fees after your booking. We have a small selection of service add-ons that will be provided to you along with our reservation packet.

Yes! There will be a staff member present to greet your guests as they arrive and direct parking. There will also be a venue manager present to greet and direct vendors as they arrive, and who will be present for the duration of your event to ensure everything runs smoothly.
